I still have some grudge towards Evangelists Converts (from Catholics). I know their opinions and I try to respect their choices until now. But somehow it's sooo hard to really accept their newfound attitude coz after their conversions they usually try to spread the good news: to make other "lost" people from their "family" convert. For me, this issue will always soo damn close to my heart.Hehe.. for some odd reason I kinda know the feeling of those Moslems who resent Evangelicals soo much coz of these conversions thingy. But conversions happened in all major religions and that's a fact. Cmon, that Ki Gendeng dude converts to Evangelical but Dian Sastro & Rendra convert to Islam so what the hey.
Um Yea, kinda off topic there.
Back to judging people now. I read someone blog and I kinda acknowledge this person is one of the Catholic-born-again-Christian-and-now-think-the-Church-is-the-AntiChrist (cough) so when I read his/her blog I have that mindset in mind and quickly scan for irritable writings.
My first scan was disappointing. Just lots of praise the Lord Almighty for this and that grace and yada yada.
A bit frustated, I tried to read between the lines to see for that purpose: to scold his/her thoughts, ridicule em and prove that my character judgement of him/her is correct. Only for my own ego satisfaction.
Well, apart from a fact that he/she is a republican (I'm kinda mixed between Liberal & Conservative) like other common Evangelicals do, I didn't find anything that echoes "Thats it!! I know U're THAT kind of person!!"
Then something hit me: Why is it important to me that I have to find this person write something EVIL in my judgement?
I tried to read his/her posts again, and somehow increasingly I ended up enjoying his/her posts just for the sake of it. I laughed if the post is funny, I cheered in his/her joy, feel sad if the writer had problems. Guess what, it turns out that this blog is just like other good blogs which is very enjoyable to read.
From this I found out that this time I can actually manage to enjoy the writings although for a fact I know I don't share his/her point of view. There's another peace.
